How the NMAT by GMAC test screen works: you pick the section order, each section has its own timer, there is no negative marking, and scores are scaled.
Before the test starts you pick the order of Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.
Language 36 Qs in 28 min, Quant 36 Qs in 52 min, Logical Reasoning 36 Qs in 40 min. Unused time does not carry over.
Never leave a question blank: guess before each section timer ends.
Each section is reported on a scaled score; the total is out of 360. GMAC does not publish a raw-to-scaled table.
