Key points
- ThinkCAT's mocks are the real CAT papers themselves, on an exam-style screen.
- All 19 ThinkCAT mocks are free. The optional ₹999 Pro pass includes sectional sprints and topic practice; AIMCAT packages start at ₹1,750.
- If you already have AIMCAT, use ThinkCAT's real papers to calibrate your AIMCAT scores.
AIMCAT has long been a default mock series for CAT aspirants. ThinkCAT goes straight to the source: its full mocks are the real CAT papers, run on a screen built like the TCS iON exam, with sectional sprints and topic practice around them. Even T.I.M.E. builds part of AIMCAT on past papers: it describes its self-administered AIMCATs as replicas of them. ThinkCAT gives you the papers themselves.
AIMCAT packages and ThinkCAT side by side
T.I.M.E.'s price cards say its prices include GST. "CAT mocks" counts scheduled plus self-administered AIMCATs; the larger packages also include mocks for other MBA exams.

Why the real paper is the better benchmark
T.I.M.E. calls AIMCATs the closest tests to the actual CAT. ThinkCAT doesn't need that claim: its mocks are CAT. A score on a real 2024 paper is a score on an actual CAT, so it tells you where you stand without guesswork. Take one ThinkCAT paper in the same week as an AIMCAT and compare section by section, and every AIMCAT score becomes easier to read. The realism check explains the steps, and the AIMCAT vs SimCAT vs DashCAT comparison covers why series difficulty can't be ranked from the outside.
The exam screen, before exam day
ThinkCAT's mock works like the TCS iON screen: a 40-minute lock on each section in the VARC, DILR, QA order, the five-state palette, answers that count only after Save & Next, an on-screen TITA keypad and a left-to-right calculator, as on CAT. Every habit you build on it carries straight into the exam hall.
Everything after the mock
ThinkCAT's scorecard shows your score, accuracy, attempts, section-wise breakdown and predicted percentile, then each question with its step-by-step solution. Then you practise exactly what the mock exposed: 40-minute sectional sprints, topic practice, and the past CAT questions by paper, such as CAT 2024 Slot 1 DILR. The free 60-day challenge adds a daily 40-minute workbook of real CAT questions until the exam.
The AIMCAT windows before CAT
If you already have AIMCAT, these windows remain before CAT 2026, from T.I.M.E.'s schedule:
| AIMCAT | Window |
|---|---|
| AIMCAT 2704 | 24–28 October |
| AIMCAT 2703 | 31 October – 4 November |
| AIMCAT 2702 | 7–11 November |
| AIMCAT 2701 | 14–18 November |
Pair each with a real CAT paper on ThinkCAT in the same week, and switch to the 2024 and 2025 papers from mid-November. The mock plateau guide shows how to analyse each one.
One paper, three uses
A real CAT paper on ThinkCAT does three jobs that a series mock can't do as well.
It measures you. Your score is a CAT score, so it's the cleanest read on where you stand, and on what your percentile could be, with the score vs percentile tables.
It teaches the exam's habits. Section locks, Save & Next, the TITA keypad and the left-to-right calculator all behave as they will in the exam hall, so every paper is also a rehearsal of the interface.
It feeds your practice. The paper's questions sit in the same topic hubs as ThinkCAT's past-question archive and practice bank, so the topics where you lost marks lead straight to more questions of the same kind, and a 40-minute sectional sprint tests whether the fix held.
Two papers a week, each analysed and followed by a day of targeted practice, is a complete programme for the last six weeks.
Practice by concept between AIMCATs
ThinkCAT's ₹999 pass also covers the work between mocks. Its 3,400+ topic practice questions are organised by concept across all three sections, from arithmetic and algebra to DILR set types and reading comprehension, each with a step-by-step solution and linked to the real CAT questions on the same concept. Whatever a mock exposes, there is a concept page to work through that evening, and a 40-minute sectional sprint to check it before the next paper.

Frequently asked questions
Is ThinkCAT better than AIMCAT?
For realism and value, yes. Every ThinkCAT mock is an actual CAT paper on a CAT-style screen, and all 19 papers are free. Its ₹999 Pro pass includes 30 sectional sprints and 3,400+ topic practice questions. AIMCAT packages start at ₹1,750.
Is there a free AIMCAT before CAT 2026?
T.I.M.E. ran an All India Free AIMCAT earlier in the season. ThinkCAT's 19 real CAT papers are free mocks, open any time with no account needed to start.
Is AIMCAT's percentile the same as a CAT percentile?
No. It ranks you among the students who took that AIMCAT. A score on a real CAT paper on ThinkCAT is a score on CAT itself, which is the better guide.
